THE SAILING STEVE IRWIN, TASMANIA – 2009
Steve Irwin was an Australian hero, inspired hundreds, and his zoo just outside of Brisbane is a testament to the work he dedicated his life too – more of that when we get to the Brisbane photos. With that in mind, it’s a surprise we didn’t encounter more things named in his honor. Sunset at Constitution Dock was a lot of fun and we discovered our favorite Australian beers as we watched the day turn to night.

The reason why more things aren’t named after him is because they’re afraid some weak creature will poke it and bring the whole thing down.
Ha ha – I guess there’s not much named after the Titanic for the same reason.
